Who we are

Founder: Sarah Cronick

Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Sarah learned early on that creativity, flexibility, and a good sense of humor are a recipe for delight and wonder. She discovered that thinking outside the box enhanced her learning and capacity to meet whatever life threw her way- the joyful, sorrowful, devastating, and wild. As a result, she’s had the good fortune of leading a life well-lived and full of story.

Sarah is inspired by folks who challenge the norms and are willing to do things differently on behalf of past, present, and future generations. She’s a story weaver, devoted to sharing stories of such people far and wide. She created Teacher Tales out of gratitude for educators that have helped shape the human she is and because she knows their voices need to be heard.
